Love this Katie. Also, I wholly subscribe to that method of festivalling. We spend a fair whack in the supermarket ahead of any festival buying beers and tins of cocktails and all the snacks a six-year-old-heart desires, then I basically refuse to spend any cash at all until Sunday afternoon, when everybody is allowed one (1) expensive lunch choice to keep us going until home time.
As much as I'd like to support indie food vendors, I also need to support my ability to pay rent and £14 for a burrito really impedes my ability to do that.
I just needed to rant about money!! It is the worst!!
Needed this, thank yooooou!
I did also!! Right there with you Katie, when will it get better?!

A perfectly timed piece, no matter where you live in the world at this time!
Oh now I know why I get such a rush when I do this!! Even though I would rather Just Buy The Thing every time.
Sounds very much like growing up in the 70s & 80s!
